Motherhood

Sono tornata a dipingere dopo tanto tempo (un anno e mezzo circa) e questo è la mia prima illustrazione. E' stato un anno impegnativo: è nato mio figlio, ho sofferto tanto e non ho dedicato tempo a me stessa.
E' con parecchi sacrifici che sono riuscita a ritagliare qualche ora per dipingere e ne sono soddisfatta.
L'immagine di partenza che ho usato è una foto di me e mio figlio, l'ho voluta caratterizzare in maniera macabra. Una collega l'ha definita una maternità triste e ha ragione.
L'ho realizzata con Photoshop CS4, Paint tool SAI e due cosine in PainterXI con Wacom Intuos3 e Cintiq.

I go back to painting after a long time (a year and a half) and this is my first illustration. It's been a busy year: my son was born, I suffered so much and I had no time to myself.
I make many sacrifices to find out a few hours to paint and I'm satisfied.
The reference image was a pciture of my son&me, I give a macabre mood. A colleague called it "a sad and motherhood", she's right.
I worked with Photoshop CS4, Paint Tool SAI and PainterXI with Wacom Intuos3 and Cintiq.
